Let me tell you something:
When I started online Marketing,
I had this strong-head and it always cost me a lot
I made a lot of unnecessary mistakes that I could have easily avoided
For example :
I’d organize a class on Whatsapp, fill like 3 groups with my lead generation tactics…
And at the end of the day, after holding the class..
Instead of converting them to lifetime customers, I’d just make my money and throw them away
They won’t even save my number
I’ll be there doing bad guy
Na so I go dey lose advertising money like mumu
When I want to hold another class, I’ll then run another advert again and do rinse and repeat
My conversions were dropping like rain and I was loosing money like crazy
Then in that moment…
I’d swallow my pride and ask for help from those that are good on how I can run this thing effectively
I had to first bear the consequences by spending almost triple of my money on wasted advertisements
Money I could have used to buy the fresh earbuds I always wanted (omo..I like that thing ehn…)
Moral of the story:
Maybe you own a business…
And you just don’t know where you’re going…
You’re depending on luck, hope or pure sweat and hustle
You think that more hard work is more money
You sleep tired and you wake up exhausted
You work like a horse for over 18 hours of your day
And you’re still stuck and sales are no longer coming in…
or business is generally bad…
And you’re spending almost double your money without clear results
And you don’t know what the hell is going on
There are 2 things you can do;
- Carry on as if you know what you’re doing.
- Swallow your pride and ask questions so you don’t die from frustration and exhaustion.
